This Privacy Policy explains how FilesFortress ("we", "us") handles information when you use https://filesfortress.com. We designed FilesFortress to minimize the data we collect wherever possible, and to be transparent about the rest.

How your files are processed

Many tools on FilesFortress run entirely in your web browser. For these tools, your file is read and processed locally using JavaScript and is never transmitted to our servers. Tools that require server-side processing are clearly labeled on their tool page with a "Processed on our server" notice. For server-processed tools, uploaded files are used only to perform the requested operation and are not retained longer than necessary to complete that operation.

Information we collect

  • Usage data such as pages visited and tools used, collected in aggregate through analytics if enabled.
  • Information you voluntarily submit, such as through our contact form (name, email, message).
  • Standard technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected by our hosting infrastructure for security and diagnostics.

Cookies
