Document Tools
Tools for handling everyday document tasks — page extraction, reordering, metadata management and more, built for speed and simplicity inside your browser.
About Document Tools
Beyond converting or compressing a document, a lot of everyday document work is really about restructuring what's already there — pulling out a specific page, reordering a document that came together out of sequence, or checking (and clearing) what metadata is embedded in a file before it goes out. Document Tools groups together the utilities built for exactly that kind of structural work.
The Page Extractor lets you pull a specific page or page range out of a larger PDF into its own document, which is useful when you only need to share one section of a longer report or contract rather than the whole thing. Page Reorder handles the opposite problem — when a document's pages ended up in the wrong sequence, whether from a scanner feeding pages out of order or an export that didn't preserve the intended structure, you can drag pages into the correct order without re-exporting from the original source.
The Metadata Viewer and Metadata Remover round out the category by dealing with the information embedded inside a document that isn't part of its visible content — author name, software used to create it, creation and modification timestamps. Viewing that metadata first lets you understand exactly what a document reveals about its origin before you share it; removing it strips that information out entirely, which is a reasonable step before sending a document externally, especially if it went through several rounds of internal editing.
All four tools here work directly on the document in your browser, so nothing is uploaded to a server in order to restructure or inspect it.
